Many thanks to the exhibitors for presenting me with a quality entry. Some top class hounds on show today, but some need more weight - top-class running hound needs a good strong back.

1st: CARLIN Mrs E & Kaleginy Fusilier At Thorsmoor – very smart, beautiful head, excellent eye, good neck and front. Very good mover going around the ring. Just needs to tighten in front.
2nd: DAWSON, Mr N D & Mrs E I & DAWSON Mr A P Stranwith Ratagan At Stubbylee – still on the leg at this stage, needs to settle into himself. He will look much better in six months time.

1st: FINNETT, Miss S L & HEATHCOTE Miss N Hyndsight On The Run – strong and powerful, good head, nice neck. Correct front and feet. Very good conformation, very sound mover.
2nd: SMITH Mrs J & Mr J G Hyndsight Timespace At Julam – another strong boy, loved his head, good neck and front. Correct topline, nice depth of brisket, strong hindquarters. Moved well.

1st: PURSGLOVE Mr K Stranwith Roag – a good honest hound. Lovely head, neck and front. Nice feet, correct outline with nice bend of stifle, good coat, moved very sound.
2nd: TROTMAN, Mrs P & DOCKREE Ms K Stainlonan Pageant Of Penherald – good hound. Lovely lean head, good eye and ears. Nice front. Loved his outline. Presented in good coat.

1st: CONSTANTINE Mrs K Ch Kaleginy The Forester Sh.CM – this is an outstanding deerhound. He is every inch a hound. Super head, dark eye, elegant neck, correct front and bone. He is one of the best movers in deerhounds I’ve seen. It is a mix of grace and power. Dog CC and BOB.
2nd: TAYLOR Mrs S J Ch Kilbourne Usher To Ormanstar – a very nice hound. Loved his head, very smart neck and front, correct outline. Very good mover.
